06.08.2003 Frisco in a day
Spent the weekend in San Francisco, which is one of my favourite places to stay for work. Well, part of the weekend, that is, as this was just the usual 24 hour layover…. This fall however there will be longer ones, which could give me the opportunity to finally visit Alcatraz or do the Golden Gate bridge by bike and come home with some decent pics. For now, here’s one I took from my hotelroom with the old point-and-shoot. I was lucky enough to have bayview!
When in San Francisco I do as the Italians and have my morning cappuccino (don’t even think of ordering a cappuccino in Italy after 11 a.m.- Tim Parks can tell you all about this…) at Puccini on Columbus Avenue, enjoying the opera music. I’m sure my father would love this place!
